Installation

Most tanks have some sort of access to the top and possible an extra fitting. The sensor would be installed there and the wires would need to run to the indicator, which should be located near or seen from the fill area. Power would be needed to activate the indicator once the sensor allowed it to. When the fuel transfer tech sees the indicator that the tanks are at their full point the tech would than stop the fueling process. The indicator will have a test feature to insure that the system is working. A manual shut off switch would be in the system to then deactivate the indicator once filling is complete.

A indicator would be installed visibly in the filling area so when the system is activated it can be seen. A sound can be as an option so you would be able to hear a beep and see a light which could also be silenced with a push of the tank light.

This is the indicator light. On multiple tanks you would need to have a selector for tank in which you will be filling.
This system once properly installed is the only way to know for sure that your tank is indeed full. No other unit out there can say that 100% for sure. A lot of them still gives you the risk of spillage and a false sense of safety.
