The Advantage Of Using This Indicator

1. The main benefit of this is to keep what you are putting in the tank in the tank and not everywhere else.

Also not filling a tank to the brim keeping pressure off the tank hoses and components.

3. Will give you repeatability in fueling. Indicator should come on at near the same level every time.

4. Once set to a level (in your tank) which would allow you to leave some room for fuel expansion. In doing so tanks will not be under as much pressure as a pressed full tank. This will reduce fuel at key points on the top of the tank and also will not allow fuel to sit in hoses like fuel fill and vent lines.
